Great Bend Police

A burglary was reported Thursday morning at 1910 Madison St.

A hit-and-run crash was reported at 11:57 a.m. at Great Bend Co-op - Cenex, 207 Main. No one was injured. The Barton County Sheriff’s Office also responded and found the vehicle around 3:31 p.m. Deputy Mason located the vehicle at Eisenhower and Macarthur; a short time later is was reported that the vehicle had been stolen from the 2500 block of 21st St. GBPD officers later located possible stolen property inside the vehicle and booked the items into evidence.

A sex offense was reported Thursday afternoon.

A hit-and-run crash in the Walmart parking lot, 3503 10th St., was reported at 5:54 p.m.



Barton County Sheriff’s Office

A possible fire was reported at 3:19 p.m. at 130 Kiowa Road, Great Bend.

A K-9 unit was called out to a traffic stop that began at 8:36 p.m. in the 2500 block of 10th Street in Great Bend.
