Great Bend Police

At 12:13 a.m. Thursday, Charlie’s Place, 1109 Main, reported a male subject making threats about returning with a firearm. The subject, Charles Drescher, was later located at 17th and Tyler and arrested on charges of criminal threat, interference and battery on a law enforcement and booked in lieu of bond.

The K-9 unit was dispatched to a traffic stop at 12th and Harrison at 1:46 a.m. Thursday. Rakel Ryan was arrested and booked on narcotics charges in lieu of bond.

A sex offense was reported at 10:07 a.m. Thursday.

A non-injury hit-and-run crash was reported at 1304 Jackson at 1:18 p.m. Thursday.

A burglary not in progress was reported at 8:21 p.m. Thursday at 1407 8th St.


Barton County Sheriff

A narcotics violation was reported at 12th and Harrison at 1:44 a.m. Thursday.

The K-9 unit was dispatched to 1214 Stone St. at 3:03 a.m. Thursday.

A non-injury crash was reported at 8:56 p.m. Thursday at SE 50 Road and SE 110 Avenue.

The K-9 unit was dispatched to the 900 block of Patton Road at 9:29 p.m. Thursday.

A narcotics violation was reported at 10:47 p.m. Thursday in the 1100 block of Patton Road.
