Great Bend Fire/EMS

EMS made eight ambulance runs Friday, six Saturday, and six Sunday.


Great Bend Police

A theft was reported of money at Taco Bell, 3607 10th St. at 9:17 a.m. Friday.

A burglary was reported not in progress at 2413 Lakin Ave. at 1:37 p.m. Friday.

A burglary was reported in progress at 4108 2nd St., at 4:39 p.m. Friday.

A non-injury crash was reported at 10th and McKinley St. at 7:46 a.m. Saturday.

A known person ran from officers when they attempted to arrest her for interference with law enforcement officer at Holiday Apartments, 5210 10th St., at 11:37 a.m. Saturday.

A report of narcotics violation was made where officers conducted a traffic stop utilizing a K9 and located methamphetamine and marijuana inside the vehicle in the 3900 block of 10th St. at 12:16 p.m. Sunday. Two arrests were made and the suspects were booked.

A hit-and-run injury crash was reported at 1001 Main St. at 6:59 p.m. Sunday. A crash report was requested but not yet available as of Monday morning.

 

Barton County Sheriff 

A non-injury crash was reported at NW 100 Ave. and W. Barton Rd., Great Bend, at 2:37 a.m. Friday.

A theft was reported at the 100 block of NE 10 Rd., Great Bend, at 4:11 p.m. Friday.

A burglary in progress was reported at the 4100 block of 2nd St., Great Bend, at 4:39 p.m. Friday.

A structure fire was reported Sunday at 1014 NE 140 Rd. near Odin. A cattle processing barn was fully engulfed in flames. Claflin Fire/EMS and Beaver Fire responded and contained the fire which was reported at 1:43 p.m.

An injury crash involving a single vehicle was reported at Susank Road and NE 230 Road at 2:33 a.m. on Monday.
