Great Bend Police

Shoplifting was reported at 9:31 a.m. Friday at Dollar General, 2400 10th St.

Fraudulent use of personal information was reported at 3:21 p.m. Friday.

A non-injury crash was reported at 4:17 p.m. Friday at 989 E. U.S. 56, Ellinwood.

A fight was reported at 4:50 p.m. Friday in the 3300 block of 10th Street. Jesus Velazquez was arrested and booked for aggravated battery and released after posting bond.

A gift card scam was reported at 4:57 p.m. Friday.

A non-injury crash was reported at 8:03 p.m. Friday at 10th Street and Kansas Avenue.

A battery was reported at 11:46 p.m. Friday in the 200 block of Fruit Street.

A battery was reported at 8:58 a.m. Saturday. Mark Schmitt was arrested and booked for aggravated domestic battery and released after posting bond.

Theft of a 1995 Dodge pickup was reported at Klima Well Service at 12:05 p.m. Saturday. The vehicle was later recovered.

A battery involving a juvenile was reported at 3:46 p.m. Saturday at the SRCA Dragstrip.

A sparking power line was reported at 12:44 p.m. Sunday at 905 Main St.

A burglary in progress was reported at 7:17 p.m. Sunday in the 2100 block of 27th St. Brennan Behnke was arrested and booked into the Barton County Jail Monday on charges that included aggravated burglary, with bond set at $75,000. Dalton Staab was arrested and booked Sunday on multiple charges including criminal trespassing. Staab was released after posting a $1,000 bond.

A non-injury crash was reported at 9:45 a.m. Monday at 19th and Harrison streets.

An assault was reported at 5:29 p.m. Monday. Charles Feist was arrested and booked for aggravated assault in lieu of bond.

A battery was reported at 7:51 p.m. Monday. Bonnie Roth was arrested and booked for domestic battery and battery on a law enforcement officer in lieu of bond.

The K-9 unit was called out to a traffic stop at 10 NW 60 Rd. at 3:06 a.m. Friday.

A non injury crash was reported a U.S. 56 mile marker 210 at 6:27 a.m. Friday.

A possible fire was reported at 6:56 a.m. Friday in the 10 block of S. U.S. 281.

A non-injury crash was reported at 989 E. U.S. 56, Ellinwood, at 4:17 p.m. Friday.
