Rush Center woman in car hit in traffic

A Rush Center woman was in a car that was rear-ended Monday in Sedgwick County, pushing it into another vehicle, but she was not injured. Two other people were taken to Wichita hospitals with injuries, Kansas Highway Patrol reports.
 The accident occurred at 5:26 p.m. on Interstate 135 at Pawnee in Wichita. All three vehicles were traveling south. A 2005 Honda Odyssey driven by Tan Minh Tang, 45, of Wichita, and a 2008 Ford Focus, driven Janet L. Flamik, 59, of Rush Center, came to a stop due to heavy rush hour traffic. A 2004 Ford Escape driven by Sabrina Marie Flangan, 18, Wichita, failed to stop, hitting the Focus and causing it to hit the Odyssey. Flamik and Flangan were not injured.
Tang was taken to St. Joseph Hospital. Flamik’s passenger, Artis M. Speed. 65, of Wichita, was taken to St. Francis Hospital.
Everyone involved was wearing a seat belt. All three vehicles were removed by Arrow Wrecker.
