Connie Sue Starks, 50, died Dec. 22 at her home in Great Bend. Born Feb. 7, 1962 in Hays, she was the daughter of Gene and Beatrice (Southerland) Parks. On June 10, 1984 she married Terry Starks in Hutchinson. A resident of Great Bend for 19 years, coming from Hutchinson, she was a homemaker.
Mrs. Starks was a member of the First Assembly of God.
Survivors include her husband, Terry Starks, of the home; her father, Gene Parks of Macksville; two daughters, Jennifer Starks of Hutchinson and Victoria Starks of Great Bend; one brother, Larry Parks of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and one grandchild, Doshja Starks of Hutchinson.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday at Bryant Funeral Home with Pastor Dwight Dozier officiating. Burial will be at the Great Bend Cemetery North. Friends may visit from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., with family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m., today at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the family in care of the funeral home.
