ELLINWOOD — Nathan was born on Sept. 20th, 1960 in Great Bend, Kan. to Harold and Elma Jean Miller. He graduated from Ellinwood High School in 1979, and worked for the City of Ellinwood for the last 39 years. On Aug. 19th, 1979 he married Pam Caffee. They raised two children, Breauna and Brayden Miller.
Nathan had a passion for hunting. His sanctuary was spending time at his two favorite hunting spots, enjoying nature, and the Kansas sunsets. Nathan was an avid collector of antiques and was intrigued by the story each item would tell. A man with a passion and love for all genres of music. Nathan enjoyed spending time with family, especially his children and grandchildren. He cherished every moment. He was known for always being genuine, his infectious smile, his warm-hearted personality, and his famous words, “Thank you for being my friend.”
He is survived by his wife, Pam; parents, Harold and Elma Jean Miller of Ellinwood, Kan.; two children, Breauna of Ponca City, Okla. and Brayden of Overland Park, Kan.; brother Steve of Ellinwood, Kan.; sisters Cherlyn and Angela of Hillsboro, Kan. He is also survived by six grandchildren, Ava, Olivia, Hudson, Jude, Hope, and Monroe.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, Feb. 26th, 2022 at the Church of Christ, 1122 Stone St., Great Bend, KS at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to River’s Edge Archery, Ellinwood Public Education Foundation Alan Fullbright Memorial Scholarship or Vo-Ag, Ellinwood Fire Department or Great Bend Church of Christ.
