The Hutchinson Monarchs converted 13 walks and five hit batters into an easy 15-9 victory over the Great Bend Bat Cats Friday.

The Bat Cats overcome 15 walks and two hit batters in a wild 18-16 victory Wednesday.

Great Bend led 4-0.

But Great Bend starter Mason Murphy walked five batters and hit two batters in an 8-run second inning. Bat Cat coach Roger Ward was ejected after a checked swing was called a ball and a 3-2 pitch delivered another walk.
