Jesus Quintana, 67, passed away surrounded by family, June 17, 2026, at his home in Great Bend, Kansas. He was born June 10, 1959, in Chihuahua, Mexico, to Roberto Quintana-Mocayo and Candelaria Neito-Mata.
Jesus was a hard and dedicated worker. He worked for Coca-Cola distribution in Mexico. He moved to the area and was employed by DeVore Farms for over 10 years. He loved to put his mind to work doing crossword puzzles. He tried his luck occasionally doing scratch-off tickets. Jesus loved to enjoy nature and be outdoors walking. In the evening, he would watch the nightly news and his favorite shows.
Survivors include sister, Sarah Ramirez of Great Bend; brothers, Roberto Quintana, Jose Quintana, Carlos Quintana, all of Great Bend, and Ramon Quintana of Juarez, Mex.; nieces, Eva Quintana, Shyria Quintana, Checotah Quintana; nephews, Daniel Ramirez, Hector Ramirez, and Steven Ramirez.
Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at St. Rose Of Lima Catholic Church with Father Prakash Kola presiding. Burial will be held at a later date at Great Bend Cemetery North. Visitation is available from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, June 22, 2026, with a Rosary and Vigil at 7:00 p.m. at Bryant Funeral Home.
