PAWNEE HEIGHTS GIRLS 58, CHASE 11 – The Pawnee Heights Tigers featured three players in double figures in a 58-11 substate victory over Chase. Lili Cissell (17) and Shelby Scott (10) scored career highs and standout Olivia Hands (13) played her typical dominating rebounding and defensive game. Jocelyn Cordero-Valles added nine points.

The Tigers (10-12) play Victoria (9-12) in the Stafford substate.

Chase’s Abigail Blackburn scored eight points.

OTIS-BISON GIRLS 40, TESCOTT 29 – The rugged Central Prairie competition paid off as Otis-Bison rolled past Tescott 40-29 in the Stafford Div. 2 basketball substate.

The Cougars converted eight 3-pointers for 24 points. Destiny Mitchell scored 14 points with a pair of 3-pointers. Hope Lumpkins hit four 3-pointers for 12 points. Abigail Rodriguez hit a pair of 3-pointers.

The Cougars (8-13) will play Beloit St. John’s (12-5) in next week’s semifinal game.

Tescott’s Liz Wenthe scored 13 points.

VICTORIA GIRLS 48, STAFFORD 17 – Stafford’s Taylor Denio hit a pair of 3-pointers and Madilyn Hearn hit a 3-pointer in a 48-17 substate loss to Victoria.

Victoria's Lindsey Scheck scored 17 points with six free throws and Averi Windholz added 13 points. The Knights converted four 3-pointers. The Knights will play Pawnee Heights (10-12) in next week’s Stafford substate.
