HOISINGTON — Carol Clark has announced her retirement from First Kansas Bank.
Patty Horton, senior vice president commented, “Carol has been a key member of our team in Hoisington with her knowledge of the community and dedication to our customers. Our bank team and customers will miss her, but we wish her well in her next chapter of life.”
Clark began her banking career with First National Bank in Hoisington in 1969 and started with First Kansas Bank in 1999. Over her career she has worked in a wide variety of important customer service and operational roles including certificates of deposit, retirement accounts, new accounts, general ledger balancing and paying and receiving for the bank.
Clark is a lifelong resident of Hoisington and plans to spend more time with family and friends. Carol’s husband John is retired from Union Pacific Railroad. Her daughter Mindy Elliott and husband Todd also live in Hoisington and her daughter Megan Luck lives in Louisiana. Carol and John have three grandchildren.
First Kansas Bank will host a retirement reception for Carol from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 31, at 101 North Main in Hoisington to celebrate her 45 years of serving bank customers. The public is invited to the reception.
