The Kansas Department on Aging and Disability Services (KDADS) announced on Tuesday that Sterling House of Great Bend received zero deficiencies as a result of the facility’s survey conducted by the department on Jan. 15.
In 2014, only 2.2 percent of all Kansas nursing homes surveyed by the department were found to be deficiency free.
“This achievement places the Sterling House of Great Bend in the top tier of performance for assisted living facilities in Kansas,” said KDADS Secretary Kari Bruffett.
“The Sterling House of Great Bend has set a high standard for all the facilities across our state to aspire to match. Administrator Rex Peterson and his team at the Sterling House of Great Bend should be very proud of this accomplishment,” Bruffett said.
