Landmark National Bank is partnering with the Golden Belt Human Society to raise funds and awareness with its second annual Dog for a Dog event. The event is scheduled from 11 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 1, at Landmark’s 1623 Main Street location.
Landmark associates will be grilling and serving hot dogs with a drink for a donation to the Golden Belt Humane Society. A minimum $1 donation for the hot dog and drink is suggested. New to the event this year is the addition of a photographer, who will be on hand to take pictures of pet owners and their pets for a donation of $5. Both the Main Street location, as well as the Landmark location at 5200 Broadway, will also be accepting donations of pet supplies, dog food, and other items for the Humane Society.
“We are looking forward to serving lots of hot dogs to our neighbors and friends,” said Lois McLeland, senior vice president and bank manager. “We appreciate the work of the humane society, and “Dog for a Dog” is a fun way for us to help support them.”
