Nelson H. and Donna R. Wharton will celebrate their 40th anniversary with a reception and dance at 6:30 p.m. on May 28 at the American Legion, 1011 Kansas in Great Bend. Friends and family are invited to attend. Hosts for the even will be their children, Spencer and Jill Wharton and Matthew and Laura Wharton, all of Great Bend. The couple has four grandsons, Jacob, Jaret, Brady and Grant Wharton.
Nelson H. Wharton and Donna R. Miller were united in marriage on May 28, 1971 in Great Bend. Nelson is employed by Barton County Highway Department. Donna is employed by Harper Camperland LLC.
