Johanna Christine Fernandez Gulmatico and Craig Carl Yunk were united in marriage on June 19 at Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary and St. Stephen Roman Catholic Church in Brooklyn, N.Y., in a double-ring ceremony officiated by the Rev. Anthony J. Sansone of Brooklyn, N.Y. Parents of the couple are Constantino and Chona Gulmatico of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Dan and Cheryl Yunk of Manhattan. Grandparents of the groom are Phyllis Maneth of Great Bend and the late Fred C. Maneth.
Given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a strapless ivory hand-beaded tulle ball gown with softly draped bodice and natural waist, A-line skirt scattered with vintage crystal embroidery. Maid of honor was Gloria Gulmatico, sister of the bride, of New York, N.Y. Bridesmaids were Anu Seshadri of South Orange, N.J., Cheryl Chan and Kajal Zalavadia, both of New York, N.Y., Jessica Sulit and Melanie Trinidad, both of Brooklyn, N.Y., Socorro Treyes-Calupitan of Newport News, Va., and Vanessa Madge of Sharon, Mass. Junior bridesmaid was Kailey Rawson, niece of the groom, of Prairie Village.
Best men were Scott McFall of Kansas City, Mo., and Brannan Riffel, brother-in-law of the groom, of Shawnee. Groomsmen were Branden Briggs of Moline, Ill., Evan Grier of Manhattan, and  Matt Suozzo and Paul Engel, both of Overland Park, Ryan Faddis of Olathe, and Shaji Pillai of Chicago, Ill.
Ushers were Alexander Harrison of Singapore, Benjamin LeSar of South Orange, N.J., and John DeLeon and Sherwin Zabala, both of New York, N.Y.

The bride is a 2004 graduate of Emory University in Atlanta, Ga., with a Bachelor of Science degree in neuroscience and behavioral biology. She graduated in June 2010 from St. George’s University Medical School in New York City with a Doctor of Medicine degree. She is employed as a physician at Family Medicine Residency in Orlando, Fla.
The groom is 2002 graduate of Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in human nutrition with an emphasis in nutritional sciences. He graduated in June 2010 from St. George’s University Medical School in New York City with a Doctor of Medicine degree. He is employed as a physician at Family Medicine Residency in Orlando, Fla.
