Crime Stoppers is seeking information about the theft of a safe and guns from a Great Bend residence on May 23.
Barton County Sheriff Brian Bellendir, speaking for Crime Stoppers, said the burglary occurred between 5:30 and 11 a.m. in the 2100 block of 18th St. “Taken were a Sentry safe with cash and coins and important personal documents, a double barrel shot gun, 30-30 rifle, a 12 gauge shotgun, ammunition and knives.” Loss and damage were over $1,400.
