According to the Great Bend police Department, at approximately 3:30 a.m. on Dec. 7, officers from the Great Bend Police Department responded to the Casey’s Convenience Store at 2716 10th St. in reference to an armed robbery.
The clerk at Casey’s reported that a man entered the store wearing a black stocking cap and a face mask. He brandished a handgun and ordered her to hand over all the cash from the register. The clerk complied and the subject fled the building on foot.
No one was injured during the incident.
The Barton County Sheriff’s Office assisted the Police Department in the response to this incident.
