Arrest made involving stolen vehicle

Several people were arrested in Great Bend Saturday after the Great Bend Police Department received information on the location of a stolen vehicle, according to a news release from the Great Bend Police Department.
At 1:38 a.m., GBPD officers responded to 1919 Madison St. and located a 2008 Chevrolet Aveo parked behind the residence along with a 1999 Volvo which was reported stolen from Wichita. The Aveo was reported stolen to the Great Bend Police Department on the prior day.
Officers arrested Jason Ickler for theft of a vehicle, which stemmed from another vehicle theft in Great Bend on Aug. 21. Ickler was also arrested for several outstanding local warrants.
In addition, officers arrested several other people at the residence for outstanding warrants. Among these were Dakota Gray, Tiffany Goodwin and Tyler Bowers.
Gray was arrested for probation violation, Goodwin was arrested for contempt and probation violation and Bowers was arrested for probation violation.
All of those apprehended remain in the Barton County Jail. The case remains under investigation.
The Chevrolet Aveo was returned to its owner and the Volvo was taken to the Great Bend Police Department to be processed for evidence at the request of the Wichita Police Department.
