Bean to run for County Commission

Robert Bean

Robert Bean, a resident of Great Bend, has announced his intention to run as a Republican candidate for Barton County Commissioner in the 3rd Ward.

Bean was born in Russell and graduated from Russell High School in 1984. He worked in the family oil field service company after high school. A resident of Barton County since 1998, Bean has owned and operated Finishing Touches Hardwood Floors for the past 30 years.

Robert Bean is married to Kelli, the business office manager at Medicalodges of Great Bend. Robert and Kelli have two children; Christian is a sophomore at Barton Community College studying criminal justice and Ali a junior at Great Bend High School. He has worked in sales and with the public for many years. 

Bean notes that with his business he works with many Barton County residents. He said he is not a politician; he will be a voice for the people of Barton County and will make sure that Barton County keeps a safe working environment for county employees and the public.
