The Great Bend Believers Wrestling Club is sponsoring an informational and sign-up meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Great Bend Middle School on the south entrance.
Wrestlers are eligible to compete from age 5 to 18. Parents are invited to the informational meeting. Athletes are encouraged to wear clothing without zippers or buckles. Shirt and shorts are preferred.
“We look forward to teaching kids how to “Win at Life” while learning the fundamentals of youth wrestling,” said coach Kyle Roberts, a Great Bend High School graduate. Roberts was a Class 5A state wrestling champion, state runner-up and three-time state place-winner.
Practices will be scheduled on Tuesday and Thursday at the middle school. Meets are conducted on Saturdays.
