Broken window reports common

Numerous instances of broken windows have been reported to the Great Bend Police Department of late.
The following cases were reported last Wednesday:
Someone broke a window on a vehicle at 2015 Madison St.
A room window was broken at the Highland Hotel.
The window on a vehicle in the 1400 block of 11th St. was shot out, and the window on a van in the 2000 block of Cleveland St. was damaged.
Someone also broke the window on a vehicle on Van Buren St.
A known person allegedly stole a coat Wednesday from Walmart. She left before officers arrived, so a notice to appear in municipal court was signed but not served. At 4:23 a.m. Thursday, an officer located the suspect’s vehicle with the driver side window shattered, parked on Seventh St. near Morphy St., but was unable to make contact with the owner.
Someone broke the window on the front of the building at 2805 Ninth St., it was reported Thursday.
Someone shot the window on a 2005 Pontiac at 425 Maple St., it was reported Friday evening.
