Commission hold budget hearing, city discusses EMS needs

The Barton County Commission will meet Monday morning and the Great Bend City Council will meet Monday evening.

The Barton County Commission will meet at 9 a.m. Monday at the Barton County Courthouse, 1400 Main in Great Bend.The agenda includes the 2020 budget hearing, the adoption of the budget, and a resignation from and appointment to the Union Township Board.

The Great Bend City Council will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the City Office, 1209 Williams. The agenda includes the purchase of cardiac/defibrillator monitors and a chest compression system for the Great Bend FIre Department, replacing a dump truck for the Street Department, and  approval of the 2019 Standard Traffic Ordinance and 2019 Uniform Public Offense Code Ordinance.
