Dudek featured in national watercolor exhibit

Barton Community College art instructor Steve Dudek has been accepted into the 2015 Kansas Watercolor National Exhibition at the Wichita Center for the Arts.
 The painting is of a Japanese koi fish titled “Circle.” The image was taken from the koi pond at the Botanical Gardens in Wichita.
The exhibition opened Nov. 20 and continues through Jan. 3.
The juror for the show is award winning watercolor artist Sterling Edwards. Edwards specializes in transparent watercolor. He is the author of bestselling book “Creating Luminous Watercolor Landscapes, a Four Step Process.”
