Colton Lagerman is the 2014 Ryan Joseph Bealer Memorial Scholarship recipient.  Lagerman is a 2014 graduate of Great Bend High School and will be attending the University of Kansas this fall, majoring in Chemical Engineering. With friends, he enjoys building projects such as a large trebuchet and gas powered bicycles, having cookouts, and playing the occasional video game. Lagerman excels academically and participated in National Honors Society, Student Council, and the Future Business Leaders of America.
This is the third scholarship from the Ryan Joseph Bealer Memorial Scholarship Fund. Ryan’s family created a scholarship fund for students wishing to enter the engineering field. Ryan moved through his life with a uniquely gifted spirit and touched lives in a deep and quiet way. This scholarship is a way to continue to honor Ryan and promote his values.
