The Central Kansas Sidewiders Casino Night benefit fund raiser raised $4,300 for United Way of Barton County. The casino night was a success and raised more funds than last year. Julie Bugner-Smith, executive director United Way of Barton County, said everyone who attended had a great time, the prizes were outstanding and she can’t wait until next year. Jan Westfall won the Grand Prize flat screen TV. Pictured above are, left to right, Smith, Darrell Turley, Sidewinder secretary, Mike Urban, Sidewinders president, Mike Morris, club member and Rick Russell, club member. In addition to the casino night, the group is active in the community, helping with Relay for Life of Barton County, poker runs, Fallen Brother, the Big Bend Rally and United Way.
