GBHS Debate places in both divisions
Great Bend High School debate teams recently competed at the Augusta Debate Tournament and placed in both divisions. In the Varsity Division Ashtin Heath and Aaron Miller had a perfect 5-0 win/loss record and placed 3rd out of 55 teams in their division. In the Novice Division Emily Beck, Garrett Dykes and Lexi Ratcliff had 4-1 win loss record and placed 6th out of 50 teams in their division. The squad placed 4th overall out of over 25 schools and over 100 Teams. Pictured standing are: Sara Allen, Ashtin Heath, Aaron Miller, Emily Beck and Coach Barbara Watson.
