GBPD busts two on drug charges

The Great Bend Police Department issued the following news release Friday afternoon:

On Thursday 2-21-2020, at approximately 3:40 PM, the Great Bend Police Department executed a Narcotics Search Warrant at a residence located at 3222 18th Street in Great Bend, Kansas as part of an on-going Narcotics Investigation.  

During the execution of the Search Warrant, resident TINA SMITTLE, W/F43, and another individual identified as LUCAS WEBSTER, W/M39, were located inside of the residence. 

During a thorough search of the residence, Methamphetamine, Marijuana, and items of illegal Drug Paraphernalia were located. LUCAS WEBSTER was arrested on charges of Possession of Methamphetamine and illegal Drug Paraphernalia, in addition to multiple Arrest Warrants for Probation Violation. TINA SMITTLE was arrested on charges of Possession of Methamphetamine, illegal Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Marijuana, and No Drug Tax Stamp. Both TINA SMITTLE and LUCAS WEBSTER were transported to the Barton County Detention Center and booked in lieu of bond.
