The Great Bend Recreation Commission will be hosting a free Stop ‘N Learn Session titled, “Holidays Made Healthier” on Wednesday, Dec. 16, from 12–1 p.m. at the Great Bend Activity Center located at 2715 18th.
This program will also be held Friday, Dec. 18, at the Sr. Center located at 2005 Kansas Ave. starting at 1 p.m.
There are many simple, but festive dishes you can create that will make your holidays a little merrier. From dips and finger food to lowering calories on you holiday dessert table, Donna will share several healthy samples. Last minute holiday gift ideas for your kitchen will also be shared.
Donna Krug, Barton County FCS Agent, will be the presenter for this program.
