Great Bend teen injured in crash at Pratt lake
Highway-Patrol

A teenage pedestrian from Great Bend was injured Tuesday when a vehicle struck her at Pratt County Veterans Memorial Lake.
Kansas Highway Patrol reports the pedestrian, 18-year-old Alondra Hernandez, was taken to Pratt Regional Medical Center.
The crash occurred at 11:45 p.m. on Southeast Pier Road at Pier 13. A 2005 Chevy Tahoe driven by Andy Monroe, 41, of Baird, Texas, was eastbound and drifted to the left, striking the front of a legally parked Pontiac G6. The impact caused the Pontiac to roll backwards into the front of a legally parked Chevy Sonic. The Pontiac then rolled across Southeast Pier road, striking Hernandez before coming to rest in Pratt Veterans Lake.
The Tahoe continued eastbound until stopped by Pratt County deputies.
