Lions Club will work
Saturday, Sunday

LARNED — Volunteers are requested for the annual Lions Club Christmas holiday distribution at 3 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. Sunday at Carr Auction, 909 Auction Ave.
Volunteers will gather Saturday to box up items to be distributed. Items will be passed out starting at 1 p.m. Sunday. Most items will be picked up at Carr Auction Sunday.

Santa’s House open

LARNED — The popular Santa House will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday in front of the Pawnee County Courthouse.

sponsor bake sale

LARNED — Larned High School senior Symantha Shelton will conduct a benefit bake sale to defray costs for a Guatamalan mission trip from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at Sweet ‘n Eats, 422 Broadway.

Prairie Treasures
will conduct sale

LARNED — Prairie Treasures, the horticulture department at the Larned State Hospital, will sponsor a holiday crfat and plant sale from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at the LHS Greenhouse on the campus.
Featured items include crafts, wreaths, ornaments and foliage plants. Prairie Treasures accepts cash and checks with no credit card orders accepted.
