A candle started a fire reported at 6:48 p.m. Friday at Will Power Fitness and Athletic Training, 2015 10th St., Great Bend Fire Chief Mike Napolitano said.
Firefighters saw smoke coming from the front door and traced the source to a stereo at the back of the business. A citronella candle atop the stereo had melted and set the stereo of fire. There was light smoke damage as well as damage to the stereo.
