Great Bend authorities are looking for a “young female” in connection to the armed robbery of Daylight Donuts, at the corner of 10th and Williams in Great Bend, late Friday morning.
According to Great Bend Police Lieutenant Bill Browne, the suspect was probably in her mid to late teens, was about five feet tall, had shoulder-length golden brown hair, and was either white or Hispanic. She was wearing baggy blue jeans, a red shirt and had a blue stocking cap over her head.
Browne said officers were dispatched to the business at 10:21 a.m. Friday after a report of an aggravated robbery. The case remains under investigation.
The officers learned that, after brandishing a small handgun, the suspect fled the shop on foot with an unknown amount of cash, and was last seen southbound on Williams Street.
Anyone with information can contact the Great Bend Police Department at 620-793-4120 or Crime Stoppers at 620-792-1300.
