One dead, two injured after UTV crash

A Great Bend man died and two other Great Bend residents were severely injured following a utility terrain vehicle crash Saturday night, the Kansas Highway Patrol reported.

According to the KHP, at 9 p.m., 42-year-old Bryan Kramer was driving a 2022 Razr UTV Polaris eastbound in the 3000 Block of Dike Road when he struck a tree. He was pronounced dead at the scene. 

His passengers, 58-year-old Carl Andrasek and a 14-year-old boy, were both taken to the University of Kansas Medical Center - Great Bend Campus with suspected serious injuries, then transferred to another facility, which was unknown as of this posting.

According to the KHP, both Kramer and Andrasek were wearing seat belts. The KHP does not know if the boy was wearing his. 

Dike Road is an access road that is just over the flood control levee in the Arkansas River bed area south of Washington and Railroad Avenue.
