A mid-year wage assessment is on the agenda for the next Barton Community College Board of Trustees meeting, set for 4 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 23, in Room F-30 of the Fine Arts Building and via Zoom.

Regular employees’ pay was increased 7%, and adjunct (part-time) pay was increased 10% as of July 2021. When the FY22 budget was approved in July, the trustees requested that information relating to the possibility of a 3% mid-year increase be presented. The board will hear a report on factors relevant to an additional increase.

Other items on the agenda include the FY21 audit, the creation of a new cyber-security program of studies, and personnel.
