Rally Sunday Weekend set for August 24-25

Trinity Lutheran Church, 2701 24th St., will kick off its new Sunday School year this weekend. During all services, the congregation will bless the Sunday School staff and those who will be attending Sunday School from age 3 to 100.

Worship services are held at 6 p.m. on Saturday and 8 and 10:30 a.m. on Sunday morning. At 9:15 a.m. there are Sunday School classes for 3-year-olds through high school age. There is a nursery available for younger children and three classes for adults to choose from. 

There will be a picnic and games following the 10:30 a.m. worship service on Sunday, Aug. 25. There will be hamburgers, hot dogs and all the trimmings.  There will be a bounce house, a dunk tank and games for all ages.  Everything will be provided by the Sunday School Department.

Everyone is invited to come and enjoy.

With groundwork going on at the future site of the Innovation Center on Farmer’s Plaza off of 10th St., Great Bend Economic Development Executive Director Sara Arnberger updated Great Bend Chamber members on several of the organization’s projects Thursday during a Chamber Coffee.
