Saying thanks On Monday afternoon, in advance of Veterans Day, the Retired Senior Volunteer Program recognized those who have not only served their community, but also their nation. During a ceremony at the Great Bend Senior Center, veterans who serve with RSVP received special pins denoting their involvement as a way to say thanks. The pins are from the National Veteran Corps and were given to veterans serving in national service programs and for AmeriCorps members and Senior Corps volunteers who serve veterans and military families.
