WICHITA -- The National Weather Service in Wichita has forecast the possibility of severe weather Monday evening in central Kansas, including Barton County. In Dodge City and Goodland, the National Weather Service had issued a blizzard warning, a tornado warning, a winter storm watch and several thunderstorm warnings. The thunderstorms were moving northeast at 50 mph.
