Six Quilts of Valor awarded on Feb. 24, 2023

United States Air Force veteran Colonel Fred Maddox was awarded a Quilt of Valor from Golden Plains Quilts of Valor on Feb. 24, 2023, at the American Legion Post 180 in Great Bend. Col. Six Quilts of Valor were awarded on Feb. 24 at the American Legion Post 180 in Great Bend, Kansas. The veterans represent the Air Force, Navy, Army and Marines, serving from as early as 1959 to as recent as 2012. 

Fred Maddox

Clay Lewis

United States Army veteran, Sergeant Clay Lewis, was awarded a Quilt of Valor from Golden Plains Quilts of Valor on February 24, 2023, at the American Legion Post 180 in Great Bend. Sgt. Jonathan Hayes

United States Marine Corps veteran, Lance Corporal Jonathan Hayes, was awarded a Quilt of Valor from Golden Plains Quilts of Valor on February 24, 2023, at the American Legion in Great Bend.
