Two injured when car hits deer

STAFFORD COUNTY — Kansas Highway Patrol reports two people from Hutchinson were taken to a Stafford County hospital on Wednesday morning after a vehicle struck a deer on U.S. 50, about 0.2 miles west of Salt Marsh Road.
The collision was reported at 7:08 a.m. after an eastbound 2013 Ford Fusion driven by Marie E. Wuthnow, 58, hit the deer. She and passenger Andrew J. Wuthnow, 37, were taken to the hospital. Both were wearing seat belts.
