A vehicular pursuit was reported at 2:22 a.m. Saturday in the 1900 block of Adams St. A Great Bend Police officer attempted to stop a known person for driving with a suspended license and warrants. The chase was terminated and an attempt to local (ATL) bulletin was issued. The vehicle was recovered in another county in the afternoon and was impounded in Great Bend.
The Barton County Sheriff’s Office also responded to the initial report but the pursuit was terminated prior to deputies’ arrival.
