COATS — Amber Diane Collins, 25, died Thursday, March 17, 2011, at the Pratt Regional Medical Center.
She was born February 6, 1986, in Liberal, Kansas, the daughter of Scott Norris and Shari (Matheson) Merritt. A resident of Coats for a short time, she moved from Great Bend. She was a stay-at-home mom. She attended the First Baptist Church, Medicine Lodge.
On September 29, 2008, she married Allen Ray Collins in Great Bend. He survives.
Other survivors are her children, Kobe Collins, of the home; Hunter Matheson, Oklahoma; Brayden Matheson, Liberal; Aalyson Collins, Akielah Collins, Ray Linn Collins, Viktoria Collins, and Dixzey Collins, all of the home; her mother, Shari Merritt and husband, Daniel, Hays; her father, Scott Norris and wife, Sylvia, Garnett;  a step-sister Davena Henson, Missouri; maternal grandparents, Jerry and Betty Matheson, Hays; and paternal grandparents, Lonnie and Cleta Norris, Hugoton.
Funeral services are scheduled at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 22 at First Baptist Church, Medicine Lodge, with Pastor Tracey Messer officiating.  Burial will be at The Highland Cemetery, Medicine Lodge. Visitation is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, March 21 at the Larrison Funeral Home, Medicine Lodge,
