WICHITA— Colleen Alma Baker, 90, died Sept. 4. She was born and raised in Great Bend.
Colleen was an executive secretary for KG&E and a longtime member of Grace Presbyterian Church. She was a loving wife and an active and supportive mother and grandmother.
Survivors include her husband of 68 years, Howard C. “Pete” Baker; sons Dennis H. (Ginger) Baker, The Woodlands, Texas, and Robert Baker, Wichita; three grandchildren: Lindsey Baker, Ross (Amanda) Baker, Krista (Brian) Hutton; and seven great grandchildren; and a cousin, Clarence Lucas, Shawnee Mission. She was preceded in death by her brother, Lloyd “Bud” Denker.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 9, at Grace Presbyterian Church in Wichita. Viewing will be from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday with family receiving friends from 6 to 7 p.m. at Resthaven Mortuary. Memorials are suggested to Grace Presbyterian Church, 5002 E. Douglas, Wichita, KS 67208.
