Gary Nolan Siemer 1948-2012

BUSHTON — Gary Nolan Siemer, 64, died April 26, 2012 at Good Samaritan Center, Ellsworth.
He was born April 1, 1948 in Great Bend, the son of Nolan and Estella Regina Maes Siemer. He was raised in Bushton and was a longtime Houston, Texas resident.
He was the director of Natural Gas Contracts for Tenneco. Graduating from Bushton High School in 1966, Mr. Siemer earned his master’s degree from Fort Hays State University.
He served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. On Sept. 23, 1967, he married Susan Cameron in Lorraine.
Survivors include his wife Susan of the home; two sons, Michael Siemer and John Siemer, both of Houston, Texas; a daughter, Lindsey Wallrapp, Boston, Mass.; two brothers, Larry Siemer, San Antonio, Texas; and Alan Siemer, Bushton; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
The graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Bushton Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Ellsworth Good Samaritan Center or Bushton Community Center, in care of Birzer Funeral  Home in Lyons.
