GREAT BEND — Karl LeRoy Allen, 77, died Aug. 28, 2017, at Hospice House of Reno County, Hutchinson. 
He was born Aug. 22, 1940, at Manhattan, the son of Andy S. and Anna (Wiens) Allen. He married Mary E. Allen Sept. 2, 1960, at Great Bend. A Great Bend resident most of his life, he was a carpenter and truck driver.
Survivors include his wife, Mary E. Allen, of the home; six children, 13 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
Inurnment will be in the Golden Belt Memorial Park at a later date. 
Memorials are requested to the Karl Allen Funeral Expense Fund, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
