ELLSWORTH — Loren R. Zelenka, 53, died Oct. 27 at Hutchinson. He was born Jan. 19, 1958, at Cannon City, Colo., to Roy and Betty (Belt) Zelenka. He grew up in Wilson, and lived most of his life in California and Wilson. He married Sherith Loper on May 29, 1992, at Wilson. He was a welder.

Survivors include his wife, of the home; two daughters, Brandi Zelenka and Cindy Hauer, both of Salina; his mother Betty Zelenka of Ellsworth; four brothers, Gerald Zelenka, Tim Zelenka, and Calvin Zelenka, all of Wilson, and Clayton of Ellsworth; and five sisters, Jane Blevins and Andrea, both of Ellsworth, Tammy Foster, of Wilson; Lori Mead of Barstow, Calif., and Angela of Minneapolis, Kan.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 31, at Foster Mortuary Chapel in Wilson, with Paster James Wagner officiating. Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday and 8 a.m. until service time Monday at the mortuary. Memorials are suggested to the Heartland Cancer Center in Great Bend, in care of the mortuary.
