NESS CITY — Rosalinda C. Gaschler, 89, passed away April 21, at the Hays Medical Center. Born on Jan. 3, 1924 in Ness County, she was the daughter of John and Anna Mary Haas Wasinger. On Aug. 19, 1946 she married Carl Gaschler in Ness City. He preceded her in death on Dec. 9, 1984. She worked with her husband at Gaschler Jewelry.
Mrs. Gaschler was a member of the Sacred Heart Church, Altar Society, and the American Legion Auxiliary all of Ness City.
She is survived by her son, Dennis Gaschler (Patricia), of Manhattan; two daughters, Carla Tomlin (Adrian), of Great Bend and Ann Gaschler of Hays; brother, Paul Wasinger of Ness City; two sisters, Pauline Witthuhn and Joan VanDegrift both of Ness City; two grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and five step-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Nick and Wilbur Wasinger; and two sisters, Dorinda Gaschler and Vera Pfannenstiel.
Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at the Sacred Heart Church in Ness City. Burial will be at the Sacred Heart Cemetery. Rosary and Parish Vigil will be held at 6 p.m. today at the church. Friends may call from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. today at Fitzgerald Funeral Home in Ness City.
