The Barton Community College Board of Trustees is set to approve the hiring of Trevor Rolfs as athletic director today in their monthly meeting.
The Barton Board will vote on the recommendation of Rolfs’ appointment at 4 p.m. in the Seminar Room F-30 of the Fine Arts Building on the BCC campus.
Rolfs, a graduate of Quivira Heights High School, has been Pratt Community College’s men’s head basketball coach since 2004. He has also been serving as the school’s assistant AD.
Panthers put 8-0 record up against Hays today at 4
Great Bend High School’s Panthers baseball team puts their 8-0 record on the line today in a Western Athletic Conference doubleheader with Hays at Al Burns Memorial Field.
The first game is set to begin at 4 p.m.
The Panthers, who are 2-0 in WAC play, have been idle the last 13 days, having their most recent scheduled doubleheader postponed because of inclement weather — a non-conference road trip to Scott City last Thursday. It has been rescheduled for May 12.
Lady Panthers travel to Hays today for softball doubleheader
