Great Bend Middle School players Alyssa Hinderliter, Dennise Chavez and Anna Campbell challenge for a rebound with assistance from Elle Hutchinson and Brynn Miller.

The Great Bend Middle School 8th-grade girls B basketball team earned a 23-2 victory over Dodge City Comanche for a dominating home victory.  

The Panthers featured strong defense and solid rebounding. Dennise Chavez, Brynn Miller and Madelynn Gregg led a perfectly balanced offense with six points apiece. Alyssa Hinderliter and Catie Haberman each scored two points.  Katie Kuhlman converted a free throw.

Coach Courtney Maska was excited that her girls executed well and stepped on the court aggressive and determined to start the season with a win.
