Ness City roars past Macksville 44-20

NESS CITY — Ness City scored three second-half touchdowns to break a 20-20 tie for a 44-20 Eight-Man 1 playoff victory. Macksville's Karson Waters caught a 9-yard touchdown pass from Kody Mead and the Mustangs converted the 2-pointer for a 20-20 tie.

But the Eagles scored three touchdowns and converted a trio of 2-point plays. Easton Seib caught a 14-yard touchdown pass and Edwin Rodriguez and Angel Guzman added touchdown runs. Angel Guzman scored three touchdowns and gained 128 yards. 

Macksville (4-5) was led by Kyler Evans with 101 yards rushing. Quarterback Mead threw two touchdown passes to Waters.
