It was a big day for the Great Bend High School girls' golf team.
The Lady Panthers hosted a Class 5A regional tournament on Monday at the Club at StoneRidge.
With a trip to the 5A State on the line, Great Bend battled the high winds and cold weather to be the regional runners-up as a team.
The Top 3 teams move on to Salina Municipal Golf Course on Monday, Oct. 20.
Great Bend finished with a combined score of 478.
The Lady Panthers were led by Hannah Mauler, who placed seventh overall with a 115.
Taylor Mohr was right behind her in eighth place at 120.
Michaela Cape carded a 121 for 10th place.
Kacee Kasselman and Allison Neeland each shot a 122.
Rounding up the team was Halley Sanders, who finished with a 135.
Maize South won the regional title with a 404.
Maize South's Laine Evans was the regional champion.
